Privacy notice

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Pagenaut is a reading app made by AIKANTA (Mexico). This notice says what we keep and why. Questions: hola@pagenaut.com.

What we keep

  • Your books: titles, shelves, ratings, progress, notes and the stamps and badges you earn.
  • An anonymous user: the app creates a random ID on your phone. It has no name or email attached.
  • Your email, only if you create an account (to sync devices, use AI features or the forums) or join the waitlist.
  • Files you upload, such as a Goodreads CSV or My Clippings.txt. We read them to add your books and then keep only the books.

Analytics

We count visits and app events (for example, "book finished") with PostHog on our own server. We use it to see which features help readers. Your data stays with us: it is never sold or used for ad profiles.

Affiliate links and ads

Some store links (Amazon and others) carry an affiliate tag. If you buy, we earn a small commission and the store knows the click came from Pagenaut. The free app may show a small banner or an optional video ad; the ad provider may use a device ID under its own policy.

Where it lives and for how long

Data lives on servers in the United States (Amazon Web Services). We keep it while you use the app. Delete your account in the app or write to us, and we erase it within 30 days.

Your rights

You can see, correct, export or delete your data at any time. If you live in the European Union, the GDPR gives you these rights too; in Mexico, the LFPDPPP. Pagenaut is for people 13 and older.
